    • Listening comprehension for a) gist and b) details

    Skills: as above

    • Presentation: take one aspect of the video, research further and present to others

    Skills: planning, prioritising, research using new media (Internet, social media sites, , smartphones), libraries, visits (eg museums, galleries), study skills, presenting, language register (awareness of audience) producing resources, eg handouts, ICT (PowerPoint, smartboards, tablets). Could be joint presentation with partner(s).

    • Information leaflets/handouts, eg recipes, music, places to visit

    Skills: study skills, numeracy, literacy, ESOL, planning, selecting, group work, researching, using new media and ICT (eg Publisher), language register (awareness of audience)
